SEBASTIAN BACH proves he's got nothing to lose

It's been a decade since Sebastian has put out new music and this one was worth the wait. Co-written with Myles Kennedy, "WHAT DO I GOT TO LOSE" is what you would expect (and hope for) from the former Skid Row singer. A great song, a killer mix and a pretty good video to compliment the song writing effort. Former Skid Row bandmate was behind the drums for this one and was nice to see them together again.

Reigning Phoenix Music has a release to be proud of and I wish all involved the best. Can't wait to hear some more.

Buy Music here Ripchain is: David Ford: Vocals and guitar Bobzilla: Bass and backing vocals Mike Stanley: Lead guitar Tyler Johnson: Drums BOOTLEG METAL: So let’s get things started with the name. Who came up with the name and what’s behind it? RIPCHAIN: No inspired backstory on this one...I wanted a ‘2 syllable’ name, so I came up with it by writing two columns of single syllable words that sounded tough or intimidating in some way. I played mix and match for a few minutes and landed on Rip and Chain. (Ironically, our sound never seemed to match our name until February 2015 when we hired Tyler Johnson on drums). BOOTLEG METAL:  Where is the band from? RIPCHAIN: Boise, Idaho BOOTLEG METAL: Is this the original line up and how did you guys find yourselves in the same band ? RIPCHAIN: I am the last survivor of the original line up. Members have come and gone over the years, each time changing the dynamic of our sound. Staying ‘style consis...

Who came up with the name and what’s behind it? HIGHWAY 4: Funny story, we actually decided on "Highway 4" after a few names.  "Crossing Waters" sounded a little too Christian Rock.. and let's face it. We already have enough "Creed's" in the world. HYEAHHH. (Scott Stapp) voice. Highway 4 is road out in California area and we wanted to pay homage to it before the state succeeds from the U.S. But in all seriousness, it's a beautiful road and we fell in love with it. We originally had 4 members and it ironically fit.  BOOTLEG METAL:  Where is the band from? HIGHWAY 4: We are based out of the Pittsburgh Region. Who came up with the name and what’s behind it? THE VERY END: Not quite sure, maybe it was me cause I've been responsible for all lyrics ever since. But it may have been a bandmate just as well, can't remember to be honest. However, The Very End as a name is pretty obvious, I think. It stands for death, nihilism, the utmost final aspect of everything and everyone. BOOTLEG METAL: Where is the band from? THE VERY END: Northwestern Germany. This region is called the Ruhr and has a great heritage of both coal/steel industry as well as metal music. Kreator, Sodom, Rage, Grave Digger and many more are literally our neighbors.
